Efficiency improvement in meat processing

At our customer – a large Dutch meat processor – we, Unlimited Spare Parts, have been able to demonstrate that our in-house expertise and knowledge in the field of product improvement and tailor-made solutions can lead to very successful results.

Our knowledge was called upon due to problems with accumulated grease deposits in the vacuum filler. Production had to be stopped regularly due to the necessary cleaning work. As a partner we have been asked to search for a suitable solution. Our Product Development department advised to change two parameters in the cutting set. We have made some smart adjustments to specific parts. Immediately after the first test round, minimal grease deposits were visible in the machine. The results were tremendous after this first adjustment. Our customer has produced the whole day without downtime and without an additional cleaning break. Resulting in at least one hour a day less downtime on the entire line, more efficient production, less residual product and an even better looking final product.
A good example of how small adjustments can have a huge impact in efficiency, quality and (financial) results. We are proud to be able to add this value to our customers, once again.
